HEALTHIER ROASTING PROCESS
The roasting process dramatically affects coffee quality. Surprisingly, most large-scale roasters use natural gas-powered equipment, which can produce hydrogen sulfites that infuse the beans, especially in darker roasts. At 248 Roasters, we use all-electric, fluid bed air roasters, eliminating the risk of hydrogen sulfite contamination. This results in a naturally less acidic, heart-healthy cup of coffee.
